Matt McGloin has provided the Oakland Raiders' offense with an ability to make big plays down the field, but coach Dennis Allen still plans to evaluate quarterback Terrelle Pryor at some point in the final four games of the season.

Pryor is going to play. The question is whether it's in limited "Pryor" packages, or if he's given an opportunity to start again.

"I think we want to try to see more of (Pryor) at some point," Allen said Friday, via CSN Bay Area. "Injuries are a tough thing. They're hard to account for. You don't know how things are going to respond and how quickly people are going to get back.

"With the short week, and again, only having 20 plays in the second half, we weren't able to get him involved in the offense. But I think that's something we want to look at moving forward, but we'll see how that plays out."

Allen acknowledged that McGloin has done nothing to "play himself out of the position." As long as the Raiders remain competitive in his starts, McGloin should be able to keep Pryor at arm's length as a read-option change-up to throw at defenses.
